general information about the online store
the products in the online store are sold by arkihelsinki oy's online store. product prices include vat. we reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.
products are ordered via the internet webpage www.arkihelsinki.com. orders are confirmed by e-mail, so to receive an order confirmation, you must provide an e-mail address when placing an order. all orders placed from our online store are binding the customer to the current delivery terms. it is not possible to add or remove products to paid orders, nor is it possible to change the delivery method afterwards.
for our packaging we reuse as much material as possible, therefore the packages can look a bit used (because they are ;) ).
orders are processed every business day. the package is generally mailed within 1-2 business days after the order is placed. the delivery time varys according to postis available delivery, but is in general 2-3 business days within finland. arkihelsinki oy is not responsible for the delivery times of posti. arkihelsinki oy is not responsible for if the delivery of the order is prevented or delayed due to a circumstance beyond arkihelsinki oy's influence.
arkihelsinki oy charges a standard delivery fee of 5€ for orders under 75€. for orders over 75€ the delivery is free of charge. if the package is not picked up within the deadline set by posti, arkihelsinki oy has a right to charge the cost of the unclaimed package from the customer.
according to the finnish consumer protection act, the customer has the right to return his / her purchase by notifying the sender within 14 days of receiving the ordered goods. arkihelsinki oy do not accept returns that have exceeded the 14 day limit. if you want to return your order, send us a mail to email@example.com (before the 14 day limit) to receive the information for how to proceed with the return. please provide us with your name, your address, the name of the products you have order and the name and the quantity of the products you would like to return. when receiving the return confirmation, please store your return confirmation until the refund is received.
the returned products must be in their original package and be comparable to new ones, unopened and unused. if the returned product does not meet the previously listed standards arkihelsinki oy has the right to deduct a sum equal to the depreciation compared to the original value of the product. the right to return products does not include products in the following categories; hygiene and cosmetic products, discounted products. the customer is responsible for the shipping costs of the returns as well as for the possible condition changes in the product due to poor return packaging.
afther receiving and approving a returned product arkihelsinki oy complete the refund within 14 days with the same payment method as used for the order. arkihelsinki oy also refunds a sum equal to the shipping cost for the return using postis standard delivery. arkihelsinki oy is not responsible for other shipping costs of the return.
for returning a product please include a note in the package with your name, address and phone number. on the return package please mark the address below and take the package to a posti-delivery point.
product liability and damages
if you receive a faulty or damaged product, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days.
changes in delivery terms
arkihelsinki oy reserve the right to change arkihelsinki oy's delivery terms. the customer must accept the current terms of delivery before placing the order.
applicable law and settlement of disputes
in the relationship between the customer and arkihelsinki oy finnish law is applied. if a possible dispute concerning the agreement between the customer and arkihelsinki oy cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the consumer disputes board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
before taking the matter to the consumer disputes board, the consumer must contact the consumer advice of the local register office (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). the consumer also has access to the online dispute resolution forum (http://ec.europa.eu/odr) maintained by the european commission. in the relationship between the customer and arkihelsinki oy, the primary alternative for dispute resolution is the consumer disputes board.
